For English speakers, this is a children's friendly cheap conveyor belt sushi place. All food can be ordered through a tablet that has an English option. No longer a rotating conveyor belt sushi place but they still bring it out on the conveyor belt to your table. It's not the highest quality sushi here but you get your fill and they have a variety of different kinds. They have seasonal sushi along with recommendation items. They even have ramen here in a small size which you can enjoy with sushi. They also have good dessert you can enjoy at the end. They have drink bar here which is a good option if you want to drink other then green tea which you can get right at the table. They have plenty of non-sushi items and items for kids. The kids menu comes with coins which you can use on their own gacha machine. Just be aware there are other gacha machines that take regular yen, theirs is by the register. They have plenty of tables here but it can get busy if you go peak time. The que touch screen is not in English so you may need to get some help. You will just need to click how many people and it will print out a sheet with what table you will go to. Keep the sheet as you will use it to scan it for final payment. Go to the table and start ordering on the plate. Try to get to the home page or top menu, there you should see an English Button to change it all to English. If the restaurant is busy and full, it'll tell you the approximate wait time. The table sits about 6 max so if you have a larger party you still need to break up the group. Overall, a fun experience for kids and family and we enjoyed our dinner. We will most definitely come here again. You can't get any sushi like this outside of Japan for the price.

The moment you step into Kappa Sushi, the first thing that stands out is the welcoming vibe. The restaurant boasts a clean, modern interior that combines traditional Japanese design elements with a relaxed, contemporary feel. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a quiet meal or have a fun dining experience with friends and family.
One of the most appealing aspects of Kappa Sushi is its extensive menu. From classic nigiri and sashimi to specialty rolls, you’ll find a range of options to suit every palate. The sushi is known for being incredibly fresh, with a variety of fish sourced daily. You’ll often see locals and regulars making their way here, which is always a good sign that the quality of the food is top-notch.
I recently visited Kappa Sushi and tried their signature nigiri platter. Each piece was meticulously prepared, with the fish melting in my mouth, and the rice perfectly seasoned. The tuna was particularly memorable-fresh, tender, and full of flavor. What I appreciate most is the balance of the flavors-the rice is slightly tangy, while the fish is subtly sweet, creating an ideal harmony.
If you're in the mood for something different, Kappa Sushi also offers several unique rolls. One that caught my attention was the tempura roll, which combined crispy tempura shrimp with avocado and a drizzle of sweet soy sauce. The contrast of textures-crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside-was just perfect. They also offer a range of side dishes, like miso soup and seaweed salad, which add a lovely touch to the meal.
For those who might be concerned about price, Kappa Sushi manages to strike a balance between affordability and quality. The prices are very reasonable for the freshness and craftsmanship of the sushi. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick lunch or a more leisurely dinner, the menu offers options for both light bites and full meals. The casual, conveyor-belt style of service also means you can grab a quick bite, making it convenient for anyone in a rush.
Another notable feature is the friendly service. The staff at Kappa Sushi is attentive and always eager to make recommendations. Whether you're unsure about which roll to try or need assistance navigating the menu, they’re happy to guide you through the options and ensure you have a pleasant dining experience.
One thing that makes Kappa Sushi stand out in a city like Yokosuka, known for its bustling dining scene, is its reputation for consistency. No matter when you visit, you can count on the same high level of quality. It’s evident that the restaurant has a loyal customer base that keeps coming back for more. The word of mouth about the sushi here is always glowing, and after my experience, I can definitely see why.
Kappa Sushi is also strategically located, making it easy for both locals and visitors to swing by. Whether you're coming from nearby attractions or simply exploring the city, it's a great place to stop by for a meal. Plus, it’s within walking distance of several other local hotspots, which makes it a perfect stop after a day of sightseeing.

Great family friendly sushi go round. The menu has English options and they have plenty of non sushi options for those who choose not to partake. With high chairs and booster seats, kids menus and juices it’s a fun easy place for lunch or dinner. Plenty of parking as well as walking distance from the bus or train stops.
Great place to eat sushi. Multilingual menu. If you want to experience sushi go around, this one of the place. When you place order, it will deliver with bullet train. Can’t bet the price, It is a ¥108 sushi. Great desert too.
Love that this location has a drink bar and the ordering tablet has an English option. Sometimes Google translate doesn't always translate that well.
Quick service and very good food. It's hard not to eat too much!
